Our occupational therapists aim at improving sleep quality by means of non-pharmaceutical approaches such as psychological, environmental and behavioural approaches. Psychologically, we provide sleep counseling and cognitive behavioural technique (CBT) for insomnia to improve emotional and psychological factors which contributes to sleep quality. Environmentally, we offer assessment and suggestions on environmental changes or different aids to facilitate sleep improvement. Behaviourally, we suggest life style changes for modification of pre-sleep behaviour and sleep rountine for better sleep quality.
