Partnering with another elite alumnus Mr Richie Chen, Mr Fang Bing is a co-founder of Hai Robotics, a PolyVenture that attained the much-coveted unicorn status after seven rounds of financing with top investment institutions like Legend Star, Source Code Capital and 5YCapital. Prior to such remarkable achievement, Mr Fang had already made his mark with Mr Chen shortly after graduation – they set up their first start-up in 2014 and the first product, an optical communication control module, successfully secured orders from NASA, Huawei, Bell and other leading laboratories.
