Before joining the master’s degree programme in Intelligent Systems Design, I finished my undergraduate study in Product Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. My research mainly involves the study of play and interaction, including human-to-human interaction and human-to-object interaction. I am also concerned about what benefits they could bring, such as enhancing physical health, mental health, and social health or even unleashing one’s potential. I believe they have inestimable value, and involving more technology could take it to the next level.
After I graduated, I established myself as a product designer developing electronic learning products. That further confirmed my interest in interactive product design.
Intelligent Systems Design at PolyU is an interdisciplinary programme that integrates emerging technologies, system theories, and design which supports my future career in interactive product design. In the future, I would like to see what possibilities could be made and what experience I could bring when interaction design and emerging technologies like AI, AIoT, and robotics collide.
