Professor Metin Kozak joined the School as a Visiting Professor on 1 August. Currently, he is a Professor at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dokuz Eylül University in Turkey. Professor Kozak's research interests include consumer behaviour, benchmarking, competitiveness, cross-cultural research, destination management and destination marketing.

Dr Po-Ju Chen joined the School as a Visiting Associate Professor on 1 August. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, University of Central Florida, USA. Dr Chen specialises in social psychology, with an emphasis on generational studies, sustainability and cross-cultural research in hospitality and tourism.

Dr Denis Tolkach, having completed a one-year Visiting Lectureship, has been appointed an Assistant Professor with effect from 1 August.
|

|
Miss Tiffany Cheng was promoted to Instructor with effect from 1 August.
|

Ms Karen Kwan was promoted to Instructor with effect from 1 August.
|

|
|
Mr Andrew Lo joined the School as Restaurant Manager of Bistro 1979 on 1 August. Mr Lo is an SHTM graduate and was previously Restaurant Manager of The Market at Hotel ICON.

|
Miss Vera Lau joined the SHTM as an Assistant Officer on 11 August. She will provide assistance to local postgraduate programmes and administrative support to the Associate Dean.
|

|
|
|
|
Dr Suna Lee joined the School as an Assistant Professor on 18 August. She previously worked as a visiting research scholar at Florida State University in the US. Dr Lee's research interests include social media marketing, e-WOM, corporate images and hospitality companies' societal marketing (philanthropic and environmental initiatives) and their effectiveness in the marketplace.

Dr Vincent Tung from the University of Calgary in Canada, joined the School as an Assistant Professor on 25 August. Dr Tung specialises in consumer behaviour, tourism marketing, corporate social responsibility and visitor experiences in the context of MICE, hospitality and tourism.

|
Dr Shuo Wang from Cornell University in the US, joined the School as a Visiting Assistant Professor on 1 September. Dr Wang specialises in the fields of services marketing and consumer psychology.

|
|
Miss Sherin Ng joined the SHTM as an Executive Assistant at the Food and Beverage Office on 15 September.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ms Helen Chan joined the SHTM as an Assistant Officer on 29 September. She is responsible for matters relating to research students and research projects.

|
Ms Sarah Choi joined the School as an Administrative Assistant on 29 September.
