Professor Francesco Frangialli, SHTM Honorary Professor and former Secretary-General of United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), visited the School and gave a seminar on the topic, "Will China and Asia Continue to Lead World Tourism?"

Led by Professor Li Zhiyong, Associate Dean of the School of Tourism, Sichuan University, a 5-member delegation visited the School and its facilities. The delegates included Professor Huang Li, Programme Leader, MICE and Leisure; Mr Wang Xiaohui, Lecturer, MICE and Leisure; Ms Liu Hongyan, Associate Programme Leader, Lecturer, MICE and Leisure; and Mr Lu Li, Lecturer, MICE and Leisure.
