2 November - University of Macau, Macau
Led by their lecturer Dr Candy Tang, 13 hospitality students from the University of Macau visited the School and Hotel ICON. They had lunch in Bistro 1979, observed back of house operations and attended a talk by Ms Simone Nabbs, Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager of the School.

Ms Jing Cai, Director of Human Resources at the Tianjin Land Resources and House Vocational College, Ms Lei Zhu, Head of the Department of International Economics and Trade, and Ms Hong Zhang, teacher, visited the SHTM.

Led by Professor Jianming Ye, Dean of the School of Management at Xiamen University, a 5-member delegation visited the SHTM and its facilities. The delegates included Professor Derong Lin, Director of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management; Professor Bishu Lin; Dr Baoheng Wang; and Ms Zhe Zhang, Secretary.

A group of 25 students from Ho Lap College visited the SHTM and its facilities.

8 December - Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Hong Kong
Mr Steve Odell, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, visited the SHTM. Professor Kaye Chon, SHTM Dean, and Mr Odell signed an education partnership agreement.
