Hosted and organised by the SHTM, the 3rd Global Tourism and Hospitality Conference (HONG KONG 2017) will bring academics, researchers, thought leaders, industry practitioners and students together to hold discussions and exchange insights into the world's hospitality and tourism industry. Innovation · Education · Research, HONG KONG 2017 will take place at Hotel ICON on 5-7 June.
In addition to plenary sessions and paper presentations, the conference will feature UNWTO Ulysses Prize Laureate Open Forums in which seven distinguished scholars will interact with conference participants to share their knowledge and insights. Conference participants will also have the opportunity to engage with renowned speakers at the Optional Dinner with Speakers held
at the SHTM's training restaurant, Bistro 1979. They will further have the chance to join optional tours of Hotel ICON and other attractions in Hong Kong.
To foster high-quality research from undergraduate students, the SHTM is offering three
Undergraduate Student Best Research Paper Awards at HONG KONG 2017. The competition is open to all undergraduate students with up to one co-author (the co-author can be a faculty member). The undergraduate student must be the first author. Only full papers will be considered for the awards.
