Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes offered by the SHTM equip students with the professional knowledge and skills required for a broad range of complex managerial and specialised work activities in the hospitality and tourism industry.
The BSc (Hons) in Hotel Management educates students about the business of hotel and food service management. Its focus on customer service equips graduates to excel in front-line roles in the hotel and food service sectors.
The BSc (Hons) in
Tourism and Events Management combines the theory and practice of business tourism with a customer service orientation to nurture graduates who are well suited to a variety of tourism roles. Graduates can progress rapidly to management level positions within this sector.
These multi-disciplinary programmes prepare students for careers at management level in the hotel, food service, tourism, events and broader service sectors, either locally or internationally. Students learn to be
