SHTM VISITORS

7 August – West Anhui University, China
Headed by Mr Dong Xiang, Associate Professor, a delegation of 22 academic faculty from West Anhui University visited PolyU and SHTM.

7-18 August – Chengdu University, China
As part of PolyU's Belt & Road Student Mobility Scheme, a group of 10 undergraduate students from Chengdu University's School of Tourism and Culture Industry visited the School for two weeks for an enriching exchange of knowledge and experiences.

8 September – University of Surrey, UK
Professor Iis Tussyadiah, Head of School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, Professor Yu Xiong, Associate Vice-President (External Engagement), University of Surrey and Mr Eduard Goean, Vice President, Therme Group, visited the SHTM.

Mr Terence Ronson, Managing Director, Pertlink Ltd., visited the SHTM and Hotel ICON.

Dr Ralph Burbach, Immediate Past President of International CHRIE and Head of Hospitality at Technological University Dublin, visited the School and Hotel ICON.

18 September – Griffith University, Australia
Professor Caitlin Byrne, Pro Vice Chancellor (Business), Griffith University, and Dr Anna Kwek, Director (International), Griffith Business School, visited the School.

19 September – World Travel and Tourism Council, UK
Ms Sarah Wang, Regional Director of World Travel and Tourism Council for China, visited the SHTM.

26 September – Chiang Mai University, Thailand
Dr Pairach Piboonrungroj, Assistant to the President & Lecturer in Data Science, Chiang Mai University, Dr Noppol Leksawasdi, Associate Professor and Director of Office of Research Administration, Dr Arinya Pongwat, Lecturer in Data Science Program and Director of Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations, Ms Atsana Piyasuraprathip, Ms Nitchanan Prapaitrakul and Ms Benjenop Buranasiri visited the School and Hotel ICON.
