The "Belt and Road" Initiative proposed by China in 2013 is a concept of co-operation and development fostering mutual growth and shared prosperity. Today it is a manifestation of China's neighbourhood diplomacy, fostering friendship and economic and tourism development. It also provides new concepts, new models, and new space for the growth of the 150 countries that have joined the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The "One Belt • One Road • One
Tourism" International Conference has been staged since 2018 to promote tourism and reinforce peace and economic development in these countries, for many of which tourism is an important economic pillar.
The 3rd "One Belt • One Road • One Tourism" International Conference is being co-organised by the Hospitality Management and Tourism School of Central Asian University (CAU), Uzbekistan, and the SHTM and will be held in Tashkent on 24-27 June 2025. Taking the theme of "Development,
Marketing, Sustainability", the conference will provide an interactive platform for academics and industry professionals in the tourism field to share their latest research, analyse industry trends and build connections in relation to the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
The conference organisers welcome academics in hospitality and tourism, industry professionals and government officials to participate in and submit papers to the conference. Papers on the following topics and others related
