Prof. Kenneth Lam Kin-man has forged a distinguished academic career spanning several decades. With research interests in human face recognition, image and video processing, and computer vision, he began his teaching career at the alma mater in 1990 and then worked his way up to become a Professor in 2010. He has actively participated in various professional activities, including joining the organising committee or programme committee of many international conferences. He has also held several significant leadership positions, including Director-Student Services and Director-Membership Services of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. Currently, he serves as VP-Publications of the Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association.
