Through offering creative solutions and changing the mindset of urban people, Mr Kevin Cheung Wai-chun gives a new and unique life to waste materials as an upcycling product designer. Transforming empty printing ink bottles into portable speakers, reinventing used PET bottles into wind chimes, deconstructing rice cookers into bicycle bells, refurbishing discarded bicycle rims into elegant lighting… this DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Awardee has great creativity in protecting the environment through design. He has been widely covered by the mass media over the years, and has received collaboration invitations from Citibank, DBS, Hermès and other corporations.
