Top-up Scholarship for Health and Social Work Professional PhD Studies
Are you a prospective student with a Bachelor’s degree and a strong interest in pursuing a PhD in either health or social work? The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (FHSS) is delighted to announce the “Top-up Scholarship for Health or Social Work Professional PhD Studies”, exclusively available to exceptional local candidates who meet our eligibility criteria.
To be considered for this prestigious scholarship, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree with first-class honours (or equivalent) conferred by PolyU or a recognised university. In addition, you should possess relevant social work or health professional qualifications, demonstrate research ability and potential, have academic career aspirations, and exhibit a strong commitment to the Hong Kong community.
Upon acceptance into our PhD programme in either health or social work, you will have the opportunity to be considered for this top-up scholarship, based on your exceptional promise, dedication, and drive to pursue a PhD in your chosen field.
The “Top-up Scholarship for Health or Social Work Professional PhD Studies” provides a cash award of HK$12,000 per month for the entire normal study period, subject to continual excellent performance and your receipt of a monthly stipend from PolyU. This financial support aims to supplement your existing funding and provide you with the means to fully immerse yourself in your PhD studies.
