The USB-MEA256-System is a compact and portable stand-alone solution for in vitro extracellular recordings of cultured cells, including neurons, cardiomyocytes, or acute tissue slices. The system acquires data from up to 252 electrode channels, four additional analog channels, and 16 digital IN / OUT channels.
Specifications:
• 256 channels for recording and stimulation
• Integrated data acquisition
• Integrated heating system
• Online and offline analysis (MC_Rack)
Applications:
• In vitro extracellular recordings of activities from cells, organotypic cultures or acute tissue slices with a high spatial resolution
• Cardiogenic & neurogenic differentiation of stem cells
• Discover arrhythmia: mapping of transmural QT dispersion in slices and monitoring of midmyocardial cell field potential
• Study of neuronal networks that contain long range projections in one slice
