Transcranial Ultrasound Doppler (TCD) System Integrated with Continuous Blood Pressure Monitoring

Transcranial Doppler is a non-invasive technique that uses ultrasound wave to measure blood flow information in the brain. It could provide information such as blood flow velocity and pulse rate of the major arteries within the brain. A robotic rotation ultrasound probe is also provided to perform automated scan for arteries. The system also includes a Finometer which could provide real-time blood pressure monitoring of the patient.

Specifications:
• Real-time blood flow monitoring in the brain major arteries e.g. MCA
• 3D scanning of blood flow information in the brain (Indication of brain arteries architecture)
• Complete with Finometer system for real-time non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
• Providing hemodynamic parameters such as stroke volume, total peripheral resistance and cardiac output as well as pulse rate (variability) and baroreflex sensitivity analysis.

Applications:
• Monitoring blood flow in brain
• Monitoring hemodynamic parameter of patient
