Features:
NIC MA-3000 is designed to automatically quantify total mercury level in various types of samples included biological tissue, food, water, solid etc. with minimum sample preparation. The sample undergoes direct thermal decomposition to atomize mercury trapped in the sample. The mercury is concentrated with a collector contained gold amalgam and then measured by atomic absorption spectroscopy.
Specifications:
Sample position: holds up to 100 samples per a single run
Sample size: solid up to 1500mg; liquid up to 1000µl
Decomposition temperature: up to 1000?
Decomposition protocol: allow to set decomposition protocol with up to 4 steps
Lower detection limit: 0.5ng per sample
Upper detection limit: 10000ng per sample
Detector wave length: 253.7nm
Notes to users:
First-time users must be trained by equipment-in-charge before they can use the instrument independently. Samples should be prepared in an appropriate way to avoid blockage of air flow system due to incomplete combustion of the samples. The mercury analyzer always operates in high temperature. Users should beware while operating the analyzer.
