“I’m always fascinated with exploring innovative ideas and making the world a better place.” Prof. Hoorn strives to apply his interdisciplinary knowledge in the fields of the humanities, psychology, computer science and life science in developing social robots in eldercare. With a sense of mission, he is dedicated to furthering the advancement of robotic technology to include AI and big data for a safe and trustworthy artificial helper that brings up creative solutions a human may not think of.
