【#WeArePolyU】“PolyU gave me chances to participate in social service that allowed me to use my knowledge to contribute to society.”
Francis joined the outbound vision screening trips to Kyrgyzstan and Cambodia to help those in need and to promote eye care. Noticing that both countries lacked basic eye care facilities, he wondered if the on-site vision screenings would be the only chance for the locals to have their eyes checked in their lifetimes. These memorable encounters inspired Francis to continue his voluntary work after graduation.
