Biography
Professor Russell Han is an Assistant Professor at the School of Accounting and Finance, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). His research is primarily focused on corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosures, the real effects of using CSR-based metrics in CEO compensation contracts, financial reporting regulations, and online crowdfunding success factors. Professor Han has published in the Journal of Accounting Research. Prior to joining PolyU, he received his Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), his M.S. in Business Administration from Seoul National University in Korea, and his B.S. in both Accountancy and Finance from UIUC. Russell has also worked as an Associate for Samjong KPMG Korea.
