Mr Freeman Lau Siu-hong is a renowned Hong Kong designer and artist. His highly reputed “Chairplay” series was sought after by museums and collectors from all over the world. In recent years, he has been working on his bamboo installations including “Sui Sui Ping An”, an installation of gigantic bamboo lanterns which was shown in the Civic Centre Plaza of San Francisco in 2017. He earned more than 300 awards during these three decades, such as The Best Asian Designer Award at the 2014 Asian Designers’ Invitational Exhibition in Korea, Bronze Award at the International Poster Biennale Warsaw 2014, as well as the Communication Design Award at the Red Dot Design Awards.
