With a strong commitment to addressing real-world challenges, Dr Leo Wang Lei focuses on sustainable technologies that harness energy from waste and transform waste into construction materials. His innovative carbon-negative climate-smart biochar partition block was awarded a Silver Medal at the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. Dr Wang has made significant contributions to the field, having published over 80 SCI journal papers as a principal author and corresponding author. His research has been featured in more than 70 papers in top-tier journals, including 5 Hot Papers and 20 Highly Cited Papers. His work has garnered recognition from fellow scholars, with over 5,400 citations and an h-index of 47 on Scopus. Dr Wang is ranked among the top 2% scientists worldwide in his area of expertise.
