Dr Rebecca Lee Lok-sze is well known for being both the first woman and the first person from Hong Kong to visit the three most extreme places on earth, namely the Arctic, the Antarctic and the summit of Mount Everest. After graduation, she set up her own design company that specialised in travel magazines, utilising her skills as a photographer and a writer. She has published many articles, photographic essays and books about her expeditions, made television documentaries, as well as channelled her interest in science and adventure into public service roles. Her contributions to society have been recognised through various awards, including the World Outstanding Chinese Award and a Gold Medal from the Society of Woman Geographers in the US. [More]
