A day filled with laughter, nostalgia and cherished memories awaited the Class of 1984 graduates in Translation and Interpretation as they returned to campus for a reunion on 27 December 2024, celebrating their 40th graduation anniversary.
Representatives from the Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) warmly welcomed the graduates at the Alumni Atrium with special souvenirs. The alumni were impressed to discover a vibrant and inviting space designed to foster strong connections among graduates. They also revisited their home department, capturing commemorative photos and reliving their school days.
One of the highlights was a visit to the Pao Yue-Kong Library, where the alumni were amazed by its innovative design and modern facilities. After exploring the campus, the seven friends gathered for dinner at Ju Yin House, and they were honoured to have their former professor, Dr C.S. Chan, join them.
This heartwarming gathering provided the Class of 1984 with a meaningful way to conclude 2024. Indeed, alumni reunions serve as a wonderful opportunity for reconnection; looking ahead, AAO welcomes more and more graduates to celebrate their graduation anniversaries at their alma mater!
