Welcome to the March issue of AlumNews. I am delighted to connect with you through this platform, which replaces my previous newsletter for alumni, Together@PolyU, as the primary communication channel for keeping our alumni community informed and engaged.
This year, 2024, holds special significance for PolyU as we celebrate our 30th anniversary as a university. I joined the then Hong Kong Polytechnic about one month before the institution gained full university status in November 1994. Over the past three decades, I have been proud to witness our transformation from a primarily teaching institution into a world-class university that places great emphasis on societal impact. As alumni of PolyU, each one of you has contributed to our institution's remarkable growth, and I eagerly anticipate your continued support as we strive to scale even greater heights in educational and research excellence for the betterment of Hong Kong, our Nation, and the world.
