          http://www.shim.org/~minhan/travel/jiuzhaigou.htm

How to participate:

If you wish to contribute a talk in OCA2004, please send your abstract before April 15, 2004, to one of the Program Chairs.
The e-mail addresses of the three Program Chairs are:

    Xiaoqi Yang, mayangxq@polyu.edu.hk
    Xinmin Yang, maxmyang@polyu.edu.hk
    Jiuping Su, xuejping@mail.sc.cninfo.net

If you wish to attend OCA2004 but not to give a talk, you may also contact one of the Program Chairs before May 31, 2004.

Registration:

The first part of the conference will be held from July 25 to July 28.  OCA 2004 participants are expected to arrive at Chongqing on July 24.  The conference will organize the bus trip from Chongqing to Chengdu on July 26 evening.  On July 28, the conference participants will go to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou for the second part of the conference.  They will be back to Chengdu on July 31 evening.  They may leave from Chengdu on August 1.

In the following, the July 25-28 Chongqing-Chengdu part is called the first part of OCA 2004, the remainig part is called the second part of OCA 2004.

Cost and Registration fee for an overseas participant:

Hotel fee per room for the first four nights (July 24 - July 27) : US$180.

Other fees (meals, transportation from Chongqing to Chengdu, etc) per person : US$85.

Hence, the registration fee for the first part of OCA 2004:

   1. Shared room : US$175.

   2. Own room without accompanying person : US$265.

   3. Own room with an accompanying person : US$350.

Hotel fee per room for the second four nights (July 28 - July 31) : US$200.

   1. Shared room : US$190.

   2. Own room without accompanying person : US$290.

   3. Own room with an accompanying person : US$380.

Deposit : 10% of the total registration fee.  Participants may pay deposit more than 10% of the total registration fee, then pay less on site.

The conference does not encourage shared room.  People who wish to share room must organise roommates themselves.  When the participants choose shared room, they must specify the partner's name in their registration forms.

Please fill in the registration form and send it to Eva by e-mail before May 31, 2004.

Then send a bank draft of appropriate amount as the deposit (a personal check of a local Hong Kong bank is acceptable, but a bank draft is needed for an overseas participant) made payable to "The Hong Kong Polytechnic University" and send it to

                Ms. Eva Yiu
                Department of Applied Mathematics
                The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
                Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong

before June 10, 2004.  To pay the full registration fee before that date is particularly welcome.  The remaining part needs to be paid by cash on the first day of the conference.  The conference will not accept other payment ways.

The deposit can be paid in US dollars or HK dollars (1 US dollar = 7.8 HK dollars).

The remaining part of the registraion fee should be paid on the first day when the particpant arrives at the conference site.  It can be US dollars or RMB (1 US dollar = 8 yuans RMB).

Registration fee for a domestic participant (including meals and local transportation during the workshop, but not including hotel fee) as well as deposit payment methods can be obtained from any of the program chairs.
