Dr Nie's research focuses on public management, nonprofit management, co-production, and state-society relations, employing quantitative and qualitative research methods. Her work appeared in renowned international journals, including Governance, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Voluntas, China Information, China Review, etc.
