Biography

Before joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Mr Yeung taught a variety of communication and sociology courses at the undergraduate level in both local and international universities. His teaching experience includes institutions such as The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, University of South Australia, and Queensland University of Technology.

Co-I. Do it ‘smart’ with social sciences: Exploring the use of smart classroom infrastructure for transmedia edutainment. Funded by Departmental Learning and Teaching Grant, APSS, PolyU. Approved amount: HK$300,000.

Co-I. A study on competency levels of post-secondary students in detecting fake news on social media in Hong Kong. Funded by Faculty Development Scheme, RGC, UGC. Approved amount: HK$515,070.

PI. Enhancement in students’ formative feedback in an online interactive platform. Funded by Departmental Teaching and Learning Grants, APSS, PolyU. Approved amount: HK$50,000.
