Mr Sik Chung YEUNG

Lecturer

Biography

Mr Yeung received professional training in social work in Hong Kong, and studied community work at The University of Manchester, UK. He taught at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of The University of Hong Kong, and now teaches subjects related to social work theory and practice at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Mr Yeung has over twenty years of experience in rural development projects in the central and western regions of mainland China. In recent years, his research has focused on poverty alleviation, development strategies and policies in rural China, as well as topics such as rural and urban community development and sustainable living.
