2024/25 Semester Two will start on 13 January 2025. If changes are necessary, they can be made during the Adjustment before Semester Commencement Period and/or Add/Drop Period. Please add or drop subject(s) via eStudent (www.polyu.edu.hk/student). For a smoother experience, we recommend using Chrome browser when logging into eStudent.

Information that you need to know
Add/Drop Arrangement for Students on Academic Probation
Any student whose GPA falls below 1.70 will be put on academic probation in the following semester. To enhance the academic performance of students on academic probation, they are required to seek academic advice on their study plans for Semester Two. Students should complete the Form 'Study Load for Students on Academic Probation' form (Form AR150), indicating the proposed study plans, and meet with the Academic Advisors to finalize the subjects and credits to be taken in the semester/term following academic probation within one week of the announcement of assessment results. As the overall assessment results will be announced after the commencement of the Add/Drop Period, all students, including students on academic probation, can access the eStudent Subject Registration system to adjust subjects during the Adjustment before Semester Commencement Period and Add/Drop Period of 2024/25 Semester Two. However, students on academic probation should attend classes according to the finalized study plan approved by the Academic Advisors. Programme offering Departments will update the subject registration records of the students for the semester concerned accordingly.
