The very first Distinguished Elite Athletes Seminar "Never Stop Dreaming - From Olympic Champion to Research Scholar" delivered by Ms Wang Xin, former Olympic diving gold medalist, current Sports Advisor of Research Institute for Sports Science and Technology (RISports) and PhD student at PolyU, organised by RISports and jointly co-organised by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the PolyU - Samaranch Sports Development Centre and the PolyU - HKSI Research Centre was successfully held on 24 January.
This seminar attracted nearly 100 PolyU staff and students, athletes and friends from the sports industry to share Ms Wang's journey from once an Olympics champion to now a research scholar.
