- Each session will have two Chairpersons. The two Chairpersons shall discuss how to share the works before the session start time.
- Session Chairpersons are requested to show up in the designated presentation room 15 minutes prior to the assigned session.
- Session Chairperson will briefly introduce the conference presenter and his/her presentation title before each presentation starts.
- For invited speech / oral presentation, each presenter will be allocated a timeslot of 15 minutes in total – the first 12 minutes for paper presentation, and the remaining 3 minutes for Q & A. The 15-minute presentation will be closely kept under control by the Session Chairperson.
- When there is two-minute left and time is over for the presentation, conference helpers will give signals to remind the presenters.
- If the presenters over-run the 12 minutes of presentation time, then the 3 minutes reserved for Q & A will be reduced accordingly. The session Chairperson will monitor the time left for Q & A and handle Q & A session flexibly. In some cases, Q & A will only be entertained at the end of each session.
- The session Chairperson will control the time and announce the next paper presentation to be made.
- For flash oral presentation, each conference presenter will be allocated a timeslot of 5 minutes without Q & A. Conference helpers will give signals to remind the presenters when there is one-minute left and time is over. When a flash oral presentation is finished, the Session Chairperson will introduce the next presenter.
- The Chairperson will give announcement to the audience if required.
