Entrance Requirements

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Qualification

Satisfy the University’s General Entrance Requirements of Level 2 in 5 HKDSE subjects including English Language and Chinese Language.

Preferred Subjects:

• Mathematics
• Extended Modules of Mathematics
• Physics
• Combined Science with Physics

Applicants who have not taken the preferred subjects will still be considered for admission but they may need to take relevant underpinning subjects after admission to PolyU to gain the necessary foundation knowledge.
