Entry Scholarships (academic) for outstanding local BACHC students
In addition to the University Academic Scholarships given to outstanding HKDSE/IB/GCEAL/IAL students (please refer to https://www.polyu.edu.hk/ar/ug-scholarships/ for eligibility), an Entry Scholarship for BA (Hons) in Chinese History and Culture students from the Department of Chinese History and Culture (CHC) will be granted if the admittee fulfils below:
(1) For Local HKDSE admittees^

1. Calculation of the best 5 subjects AND 2. Meeting the university's general entrance requirements (332A33) |

(2) For Local non-JUPAS admittees^

How can I apply for the Entry Scholarship?
There is no need for students to apply separately for the Entry Scholarship. The Department will identify outstanding applicants and inform awardees after the commencement of the school term.
^ (1) Local admittees are students who do not require a student visa to study in Hong Kong. (2) A student can concurrently hold more than one scholarship administered by the University in an academic year if the total value of scholarships received by him/her does not exceed his/her annual tuition fee payable plus an allowance of HK$50,000 unless otherwise stipulated.
