陳斌2018年畢業於賓夕法尼亞州立大學，獲博士學位；2012年畢業於澳門大學，獲碩士學位；2010年畢業於廈門大學，獲學士學位。在香港理工大學任教前，他先後在香港中文大學(深圳)擔任助理教授(教學)，在賓夕法尼亞州立大學擔任博士後教員。
