鄒冬心博士的研究關註二十世紀中國醫學、科學和技術的變化發展及其與世界的相互影響。她的研究聚焦於跨國匯通中的知識生產、醫學與政治的互動、以及技術發展與殖民主義的關係等議題。她正在撰寫的專著以阿爾及利亞為案例,探討中國醫療隊如何在海外進行社會主義模式的醫療實踐以及相關的技術轉移和知識生產過程。此項研究獲得了美國社會科學研究理事會(SSRC)以及美國學術團體協會(ACLS)等機構的資助。在加入本系之前,鄒冬心博士在哥倫比亞大學任教,並曾在新加坡國立大學亞洲研究所擔任博士後研究員。
