Dr. Xuanding Wang is currently an Associate Professor in Chongqing University. He joined the CNERC in September 2019 as a Postdoctoral Fellow till June 2020. His research interests include structural behaviour of composite steel-concrete thin-walled tubular columns and piers, and their connections. Dr. Wang received his B.Sc. degree, his M.Sc. degree, and his Ph.D. in civil engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow for 2 years at Chongqing University. He has won the first prize of the China Young Researchers' Conference of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) at the U.K. in 2017.
