Dr. Ning joined the CNERC in August 2023 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He received his BEng degree in Civil Engineering from Anhui University of Technology in 2015, followed by his MEng and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from Beijing University of Technology in 2018 and 2023, respectively. He visited the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for one year from 2021 to 2022, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. His research mainly focuses on the stability and seismic performance of high-performance steel structures, including flexural buckling performance of stainless steel axial compression members and beam-columns, seismic performance and design methods for beam-columns and frame structures.
