LUNA ODiSI 6100 Optical Distributed Sensor Interrogator

The interrogator measures and analyses the frequency changes of backscattered light along optical fibre cables installed on structural components, to facilitate continuous strain measurement along the cables with sensing length of more than 100 m, and strain measurement range of +/- 12,000 microstrains and temperature measurement range of 0 to 150 °C. The spatial resolution of measurement is around 1 mm along the cable, with strain measurement accuracy of +/- 1 microstrain.
