Faculty Award in Teaching 2023
The team led by Dr LI Jing, Amelia (Assistant Professor) with Dr LUI Wing Cheung, Richard (Senior Teaching Fellow) received the Merit Award (Team) in Faculty Award in Teaching 2023.
Dr Henry Chan - 2022 IEEE Education Society William E. Sayle II Award for Achievement in Education & IEEE Teaching Award 2015
Dr Henry Chan, Associate Professor of COMP, has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 IEEE Education Society William E. Sayle II Award for Achievement in Education with the following citation: for contributions to computing education and to the development of the TALE conference.
He has also been named the 2015 recipient of the IEEE Computer Society Computer Science and Engineering Undergraduate Teaching Award, for his outstanding contributions to computing education through teaching, mentoring students and service to the education community
Dr Grace Ngai - UGC Teaching Award
Dr Grace Ngai, Associate Professor of COMP, received the Academic Service-Learning Transformers Award in the Category of General Faculty Members/Team at the 2016 University Grants Committee (UGC) Teaching Award presentation ceremony.
The annual UGC Teaching Award was introduced in 2011 which aims to honour those who excel in teaching in the UGC sector. The award does not only recognize past and present teaching performance and achievements, but also the teachers' leadership in and scholarly contribution to teaching and learning within and across institutions.
Faculty Outstanding Teaching Award (Team)
The team led by Dr Leong Hong Va (Associate Professor) with members including Dr Dennis Liu (Teaching Fellow), Dr Richard Lui (Teaching Fellow) and Dr Peter Ng (the then Teaching Fellow) received the Faculty of Engineering Outstanding Award in Teaching (Team) for the academic year of 2021/22.

Dr Dennis Liu, Teaching Fellow of COMP received the Faculty of Engineering (FENG) Merit Award in Teaching (Individual) for the academic year of 2019/20 in recognition of his excellent performance and achievements in Teaching.
