Over 100 leaders from more than 30 higher education institutions from 20 countries and regions joined The Presidents’ Forum on 7 December. With the topic “Transformative Power of Universities for Our Future”, the Forum provided an opportunity for higher education leaders to exchange views and inspire each other on how universities can transform the world in view of the current and future global challenges. PolyU recently staged the “Exhibition on Campus Development and Green Deck”, featuring exhibits which chronicled how the University enhanced its campus throughout 80 years. The exhibition also provided visitors with a virtual reality experience of the proposed Green Deck. Video

Lecture series and alumni forum

講座系列與校友論壇

PolyU has organised a vibrant mix of lecture series and forum, bringing together renowned scholars, community leaders and alumni from across the globe.

In October, the University proudly staged two Global Leader Lectures by eminent leaders in academia as well as in the hospitality and tourism industry. In addition, three Nobel Prize winners shared their insights at PolyU under the D. H. Chen Foundation Nobel Laureate Lecture Series. Details

On 6 December, the Global Alumni Leaders Forum gathered alumni from Hong Kong, the mainland and overseas to exchange ideas on the roles of alumni in advancing university social responsibility. More
