PolyU student’s Antarctica expedition PolyU celebrates the topping-out for the redevelopment of Pak Sui Yuen Funding for air pollution research

Professor Wang Tao and his team of researchers from PolyU’s Department of Civil and Structural Engineering has recently been granted government funding for their project “Study of photochemical air pollution in Hong Kong”. The Environment and Conservation Fund approved a funding of $13 million in March to support two scientific studies by local universities on air pollution. The PolyU project aims to enhance understanding of the formation of photochemical smog pollution in Hong Kong. The study is a new partnership between the academia and the government to improve air quality in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta Region. Details >>
