Faculty of Business organizes career day on investment banking

 

 

PolyU’s Faculty of Business and Shanghai Lujiazui Financial City co-organized a Career Day on Investment Banking on campus on 5 November. Over a hundred students participated in the event.

The Career Day kicked-off with an Introductory Talk by Mr Peter Chen, Talent Agent Manager of the Shanghai Lujiazui Financial City, followed by job interviews for students and resume submissions to participating companies. It ended with a seminar on Investment Banking and Credit Rating delivered by Mr Stan Ho, Senior Director and Head of Non-Japan Asia Structured Finance, Fitch Ratings.

Lujiazui Financial City is the financial hub of Shanghai, attracting local and overseas banks, investment firms and other multinational corporations to establish their business there. Companies participating in the event included China Securities Depositary & Clearing Co. Ltd, Everbright Securities Co. Ltd, Hua An Fund Management Co. Ltd., International Far Eastern Leasing Co. Ltd., Wind Information Co. Ltd, and Shenyin & Wanguo Futures.
