To celebrate its 75th Anniversary, PolyU will organize alumni and student reunion gatherings at various outposts and teaching centres on the mainland. The first gathering was held in Beijing on 25 February, with attendance of more than 200 participants, including PolyU President Prof. Timothy W. Tong; Vice President (Institutional Advancement and Partnership) Prof. Angelina Yuen; professors, graduates and students of those programmes offered by PolyU in Beijing and Tianjin, and other alumni in Beijing.

The event was jointly organized by PolyU’s Alumni Affairs and Development Office and Chinese Mainland Affairs Office. The University’s partner institutions in Beijing and Tianjin, including Renmin University of China, Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University and Nankai University, also assisted in organizing the event.
