PolyU staff, students and alumni take part in London Olympics with pride

 

Though the London 2012 Olympic Games have drawn to a close, the perseverance and tenacity demonstrated by Hong Kong elite athletes during the Games will stay on. PolyU members took pride in having the opportunities to support the Olympic Games on various fronts:

Professor, Institute of Textiles and Clothing

His research team has worked in collaboration with The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel, the Hong Kong Sports Institute and the sponsor on the development of a high-performance sportswear which has been worn by Hong Kong elite athletes in their preparation and training, including running, rowing, cycling and windsurfing.

Served as Team Physiotherapist of the Hong Kong Delegation.

Dr Amy Fu

Provided on-site professional services to the Hong Kong team and the national Judo athletes, including Ms Tong Wen - the Bronze Medallist of the Women's +78kg event.
