PolyU generates fruitful discussion on Massive Open Online Courses Permanent Secretary for Food and Health visits PolyU

On 4 July, PolyU’s Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre organized the inaugural Forum on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) which was supported by the Faculty of Engineering. Drawing over 120 participants from all over the world, the Forum addressed commonly concerned issues related to MOOCs through presentations and panel discussions by MOOC providers, e-Learning university administrators, academics and e-Learning instructional designers. PolyU Council Chairman Ms Marjorie Yang also delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the background and significance of MOOCs and how they could re-define the future of education. Details>>
