On 15 July, some 330 students and teachers from different professions of Tongji University participated in the first PolyU-Tongji Day. They visited their corresponding departments at PolyU and exchanged with the University’s faculty and students. The opening ceremony of the event was officiated at by Prof. Angelina Yuen, PolyU Vice President (Institutional Advancement and Partnership), and Prof. Dong Qi, Vice President of Tongji University. After the ceremony, Prof. Otto Lin, Senior Advisor to the President of PolyU gave a talk on soft power and competitiveness in technological innovation. Details>> (Chinese version only)

Recently, PolyU officially opened a liaison office in Tongji University in Shanghai. The opening ceremony was officiated at by PolyU Executive Vice President Mr Nicholas W. Yang and Tongji University President Prof. Pei Gang. This office will facilitate exchange and cooperation among students, academics and alumni of the two universities, and enhance PolyU’s expansion in Shanghai.
