Accompanied by PolyU Council Member Mr Billy Lam, Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments Ľubomír Vážny visited the University with senior government officials on 19 July. Prof. Kaye Chon, Dean of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, and Prof. Teng Jin-Guang, Director of the Research Institute for Sustainable Urban Development, gave them an overview of the hospitality education and training and sustainable development in Hong Kong, as well as PolyU’s research and innovation.
