In April, seven PolyU students were awarded the Innovation and Technology Scholarship organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and jointly sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hongkong Bank Foundation. The scholarship recipients are all-round students who excel in academic performance, communication skills, and possess a passion for innovation and technology.
Each student was awarded a scholarship to participate in a series of programmes involving overseas attachment, mentorship, service projects and local internship, for gaining industry experience and international exposure. The scholarship recipients are:

- Goh Zhen-hao, Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology
- Lee Ka-wing, School of Optometry
- Wong Ka-lai, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering
- Yip Suet-chui, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences
- Yu Ka-miu, Institute of Textiles and Clothing
