Since the Wenchuan earthquake happened six years ago, Dr Timothy Sim, Associate Professor at PolyU’s Department of Applied Social Sciences, and his teammates have been providing professional support in the quake-stricken areas. Entering its third phase, the support programme now focuses on increasing villagers’ awareness of disaster prevention and providing rehabilitation services.
