"Spare yet for golden time — The Swift Cavalry General Huo Qubing"
At just 18 years old, the Western Han dynasty’s famed general Huo Qubing stunned the world by leading 800 elite cavalry in a daring surprise attack against the Xiongnu. In subsequent campaigns, he swept through the northern deserts, conquered Mount Qilian, and achieved legendary victories. He built an altar and performed a ritual to heaven to announce his victory at Mount Langjuxu. Yet, at the peak of his glory, he succumbed to a sudden illness at the age of 24, leaving history to mourn his untimely demise.
